Closer: I freaking love this movie. Just rewatched it for no particular reason except its one of those movies I can watch over and over and over and still enjoy. Oh...just excellent. Only if Julia Roberts hadn't been in it...Cate Blanchet had been the first choice. damn her for getting pregnant...or whatever happened. Damn her!!!!

But Clive Owen and Natalie Portman can have my babies. They're fantastico!

and now the sun is coming out and I'm not very sleepy. I should go to sleep cause I have to wake up at some semi normal hour to call my dad. Apparently he had a fight with Jerry, his best bud and fellow bandmate. So...he needs somebody to talk to. :( pooooor D.

I would just like to get up and maybe...enjoy my day off. and maybe go to see a movie or something before I mope and get bitter about film club and complain about how its going to be a colossal waste of time and that we'll watch nothing of any interst. then we might just end up watching something decent. Or I can come home and watch that "Old Boy" movie with Katie or "Fargo" which needs to be watched! bah.

I love the movie too. because of the honesty. You know...usually they are like 'blah' in relationship movies but here they are ruthless and complicated and great!

Closer is the best ever. We've been trying to force my friend's sister to watch it for the past three days since we found out she never saw it and everyone needs to see it. I didn't know Julia Roberts wasn't originally supposed to be in it, I'd have preferred Cate Blanchet too.

Oh, how's that make sense? Roberts is American, Blanchett is an Aussie (?)... though I don't really like her either.

The origin of the character didn't matter in the story. Its never mentioned or talked about that she's American and I don't think the character originally was American anyway. They just did it that way when they got Julia Roberts. I like Cate Blanchet a whole lot more then I like Julia Roberts.

We have "Old Boy" sitting on the table waiting to be watched. I've heard very very good things.
