X-Men & Three Wolverine Claws: I was directed to the new X-Men 3 trailer.

uhhh....emmmmm...The Trailer of X3.

They're bringing in a whole lot of new mutants. And going into the Phoenix story. Beast looks...terrible. And apparently Wolverine really likes to just stand around and smoke while things all around him blow up.

*sigh* I will not even attempt to get my hopes up about this movie. Yes, I'm going to be watching it when it comes out in May. But I will go in with no hope of it being any good.

New mutants but still doesn't seem like any Gambit...
That makes me sad.
Beast does look rather bad... kinda like a gorilla dyed blue, though probably that would look better.

They officially dropped Gambit from the movie a couple of weeks ago. Or months. I can't remember.

Supposedly Gambit makes a cameo on Magneto's side. Either way, Gambit is the ultimate cool guy with absolutely zero substance, so it's pretty understandable they wouldn't put him in there.

I'm kind of relieved they're not doing Gambit. I don't think they would be able to portray the character correctly, especially with all the other mutants they're putting in. With the look, the accent and the attitude...it would be a hard one to sell. They got lucky with Mr. Jackman for Wolverine, but Gambit would be another...gamble. hehe

That's exactly how I feel about it. The rest of my List is going, "OMGWTF! SQUEE!", while I look at the trailer and want to cry about everything they've FUCKED UP. Not to say Singer didn't bugger a few things, but not as much as Ratner and Co. I'm putting my energy into the Wonder Woman movie and hope against hope Whedon doesn't fuck that up.

Yeah, I'm also trying to stay sort of no-opinion about it until I see it. Except for the apparent death of Professor X, because I must mentally prepare for seeing any harm come to Patrick Stewart.

I kind of laughed seeing Beast at the funeral, though; he looked so goofy.

About Wolverine -- I'm pretty sure he's in the Danger Room, not just being a complete oaf about his surroundings.
