Well, today was a long day...I woke up around 3 and had to go to work...work. It was fun...yet not. It was a slow day and everyone was having a good time, but all I wanted to do was come home and take a shower. I wanted to be clean and fresh...and just sit down. I wanted to sit on my now comfy bed and just enjoy it. Haven't done that in awhile. There have been developments and shit in my life...and those need to be thoroughly explored...which takes time and energy.

I know you're all probably tired of hearing and reading me going on and on about Metallica. But I'm sorry...I will continue. Today, it hit me hard. It hasn't really registered that I WILL be seeing Metallica in 8, soon to be 7, days. But today... I was making pizzas with Colin and King Nothing came on the radio and I smiled and said to Colin, "8 days," and he asks, "What?" I repeat, "8 days..." and then he says, "OH! Metallica! That is going to be so cool for you." and it hit me right then as I nodded and the song kept playing, I'm going to be seeing Metallica. The one band that has meant more to me then any other band. The one band that has influenced me more then anything else...I'M GOING TO BE SEEING THEM PERFORM LIVE!! I will be there...as they play the songs...it's mind blowing...and I felt like a zombie. I just made some damn pizza, probably messed it up and just stared like I was brain dead. Fuck! I'm going to be seeing Metallica!!!! FUCK!

I also whipped out some old cd's today...and it made me happy. i love not listening to something for awhile and going back and it just blows you away all over again and you think, "Why the hell haven't I been listening to this?!" I LOVE that!
