Sci Fi = Best Television station eva!
Jan. 22nd, 2005 06:30 amoh dear lord. just watched two of the best shows. At least the best science fiction show I've ever seen. haha.
Buck Rogers and the 25th Century!!! haha! SciFi played an episode of the show about 2 hours ago...and it was awesome! hilarious and just totally great.
I'm in love with the show. haha. and its out on dvd. so when I get extra mula...getting some Buck Rogers. He's a guy from 1980s...(in the show, but actually its in the 70s) and he's somehow taken to 2400 something. and I don't know. its just amazing. there's a robot...carrying another robot around. crazy 70's hair and buildings that stand the test of time...even 400 years in the future! no new architecture! haha. and the fighting skillz! off the chain!
Also saw show called Night Visions. Hosted by HENRY ROLLINS! Damn, if that wasn't good enough. half the show was a skit with Bill Pullman...directed and starred. a crazy rectangular world and he's like "I wanna go in...I love that woman" so he ends up going through when the rectangular world opens up. and the woman comes up and its all sweet. then BAM! She' starts eating him! haha. it was great. and then another skit with Cary Elwes. Freaking Farmboy or Dread Pirate Roberts from Princess Bride bitches! and he was a wimpy little american dude. all whiney and just wanting some peace and quiet. but comes this unruly camper to ruin his weekend. and...well it was awesome. haha. In the words of Henry Rollins "When someone tells you to hold your tongue, do it. Or they'll do it for you."
Serious.
and i've been banned from watching Stargate in the main room. I have to stay cooped up in my room if I want to do any Stargate watching according to Katie. *sigh* I think i've done too much geeking out for katie to handle. hehe.
Still haven't watched that Samurai Deeper Kyo show that we rented from blockbuster. it was due back already. oops. has anybody seen it? is it any good?
and on other news. Mel has to come into work today to get fired. *throw hands in air triumphantly* yaya. shouldn't be happy over someone getting fired. but he so deserves it. sux to be him right now.
