Got a kinda new look going on here. kinda just messing around. finally beat the damn S2 and its lameness for banners. it was quite simple actually. I don't know why it seemed so difficult. I'm just retarded, I guess. I'll probably be making a new banner for this journal and my icon journal...which I also kinda updated. :) I just find it fun fiddling with livejournal. I need a life.

Film Club thing was tonight. Watched short films of David Lynch. Was alright. There was one funny movie called "The Cowboy and the Frenchman". hilarious that one was. hahaha.

Also found out today that Sin City is the best black and white movie since Casablanca. Or Schindler's List. woah. woah. woah. Now I LOVE Sin City. But to compare it with the likes of well...Casablanca isn't my fav...but comparing the two is silliness. And so is comparing it with Schindler's List. silly people. Our school's newspaper thing is dumb.

also found out today that My Chemical Romance will be opening for Green Day on the 16th. I did not know that. It was very pleasant news. and now katie is ecstatic. Good Stuff. :) yay!

I do not want to go to work. i'm a cook and i'm closing with tammi. Tammi does nothing at work. She talks on the phone and takes cigarette breaks. its going to suck. And i'm there until one in the morning! gah!

I want to stay home and watch farscape. *pouts*

but it does cheer me up to think in a week i'll be going to a concert. I haven't been to one is so long. its making me all excited and happy. yaya.

fifteen minutes to go. then I must be off. to hell.

I'm trying to buy the movie Bent. But I can't find it in stores anywhere. I don't want to order it online. but I'm guessing I'm going to have to. really sucks.

Question for all of those who have either watched or read Sin City. Do you think the movie or graphic novels objetify women? Or are the women in the stories strong and independent ass kickers? Think on it...and answer.
