Is that a serious question?
Aug. 17th, 2005 03:41 amI have to commentate on today. It was AWESOME to the EXTREME. As the day went on...
- Bought Horrorpops Tickets
- Went to movie theater and watched Happy Endings. Adorable cash register guy who liked to talk about popcorn. anyway, a very good movie! I suggest to all who have the opportunity to watch this movie. Maggie Gyllenhaal was lovely and even Lisa Kudrow was very good. loved it.
- As soon as the movie is over, Drew, a film...student...at UCF calls Katie, about some crazy shit about Bruce Campbell, of Evil Dead fame, showing his new movie at the movie theater in the mall. So...we're like, hell we'll go.
- Ate at Chinese Bistro. Food was...errr...not that good but it was still an uber fun time because it was all on a gift certificate and it was the perfect lovely lesbian love date. And we made the waitress feel bad cause we didn't like the food, but gave her a VERY generous tip. so shaddup.
- Came home to waste some time. Watched Reno 911 which was much funniess.
- Drove down to movie theater in mall. and sit down and watch the long ass line for Bruce Campbell's book signing, waiting for the movie time. Movie gets pushed back an hour cause Mr. Campbell was running behind. But we get in theater and Bruce Campbell comes out to introduce his movie and take some questions. That was worth the ten bucks right there. haha. oh...soo amusing. He's like my hero now. teeheee. And the movie, The Man With the Screaming Brain, was very funny. Very much what you would expect from him, but so awesomely great.
And he also said the rumors about a remake of Evil Dead and that Ashton Kutcher had been approached about it were FALSE. Which made me very very happy. but he's right, who wouldn't want to see Ashton Kutcher raped by a tree?
- Then we came home and watched Stella..."I'll look once more for that baby deer." lurve that show.
And that is all. that's my day. some planned events, some not so planned. I feel so productive or something. OH and I also managed to piss off the Drew guy by only mentioning he liked to eat out a lot. *stares* he's weird.
