Concert of Fantastico!

First off...I think its the first show I've been to where I really enjoyed every single band that played. I mean...really really enjoyed them!

The concert began with being for Metric...a band I'd never listened to until we saw they were playing The Social and Katie had a slight interest. She decided she kind wanted to go and I listened to some of their stuff and liked it. Sooo, that was cool.

So...it starts out that we're going to see Metric. Then Katie hears something about one of the opening bands, Death of a Party. And because of their band name and songs she heard she became more excited for them. So that was cool.

Then we get there and talking, hoping the third band...the opening opener will be semi-decent. Enough to fucking...like...keep me awake. And it turns out....They were the best band of the goddamn night! not that Metric or Death of a Party were bad....but these guys ruled! I actually think I fell in love.

The Lovely Feathers: This band The Lovely Feathers...stole my heart and amused me beyond belief. They walked on stage and one of the guys is wearing this strange get up with...boots and a vest...and it was slightly odd. Then another guy walks out all in white with an orange cape draped over his shoulders. All serious and wonderful. And they...simply...rocked.

And if I could get some of their songs right now I'd put them up. But I'll be updating later with pictures I took, so I'll do it then. Katie got their EP and I want to hear it. I couldn't get anything because I didn't bring cash. Didn't think I would end up wanting to buy anything. AWWWW...and Katie got the dark haired singer/guitarist for The Lovely Feathers at the merch table, oh! and he was soooo adorable. And seemed to be in a happy disbelief when she told him that they were the best band of the night. awwwwwww.......awwww.

Also because they were so awesome...and I'm bored....and I should be sleeping but I'm not. Pictures I found of The Lovely Feathers. Yay!
