Ich bin aufgeregt!
Aug. 29th, 2006 01:54 amWow...today was kind of blah...but full of stuff.
Sports Authority: Gary told me today that the manager at Sports Authority by our Pizza Hut asked if I would be interested in a job...and of course...I was. :) I had just applied to a Sports Authority near my apartment. they never called me back. But, anyway, I went over and talked to the woman, Kim, and she was very nice. And she wants me as a floor leader...or floor manager or...I don't remember the title of the job. But pretty much...I get paid around what I'm getting paid at Pizza Hut to manage over the crew in the front of the store.
I've only ever really worked at Pizza Hut, and my management experience is just with food. So i'm not exactly sure what this job will entail...but I am positive I can handle it. And I'm excited! Because I've been hoping for a job equal to mine at Pizza Hut that was wasn't food related. This is my chance to partly escape the Food World...so YES!! I have to go pee in a cup in the next 48 hours and hopefully all will turn out good and I'll be getting trained up and working soon.
I've never taken a drug test before. I wonder how awkward it is to pee in a cup.
Pizza Hut: Gary announced that he will be putting in his two weeks notice tomorrow. This, if it is true, means Pizza Hut is about to get even more stupid then it has been. Which makes me even more excited about this Sports Authority thing. Pizza Hut has really been dragging me down. I want to be free of my reliance on the job so I can relax a little more.
And his sudden announcement that he's quitting, while everything is coming down on him about inventory, transfers, and stealing hours from employees only makes me 100% that he was screwing everyone over. From the Pizza Hut corporation down to the newly hired cook and driver. Fucking Prick.
Good Riddance.
German: Ich bin zwanzig Jahre alt. Ich lerne Deutsch. Es ist schwierig, aber Ich mache gut.
At least...I think I'm doing good...that might not make any sense.
