I Hate Women!

Yes, I hate women. Women drive me nuts. Even though I am one, that fact does not warm me to other women. I think it allows me to know exactly why women are evil.

But, somewhat recently...women have been growing on me. I've found a place inside of me that doesn't hate them. And a few women have made my heterosexual heart go pitter patter.

I think its more the characters I love then the actresses themselves because in the end they are all strong and interesting female characters. But the women who play the characters all appear to me to share those qualities as well.

I give you Four Women that I can't help but crush on. Big Time Crush. I wanted to do 5 but apparently at this point in my life Five is too many. So Four.

It all began with a little scifi show called Farscape. And with a beautiful and strong leading lady named Claudia Black as the fierce and radiant Officer Aeryn Sun. An alien that quickly draws the attention of John Crichton. Her military instincts clash with his human ways and at one point she ponders what he could possibly teach her. Out in space with a band of criminals she found the feelings that she had once thought weakened a person to be the thing that made her even stronger.

She had a role in Pitch Black which was enough for me. I went and saw it. Then I was beyond pleased when SciFi Channel brought her back to play Vala Mal Doran on Stargate SG-1 in its final 2 seasons. I fell in love all over.

This woman is breathtakingly beautiful and accent! <3 She has such big teeth which would usually be a weird thing but on her it just makes her smile shine. She is my first and forever love. AERYN!!

Aeryn Sun: She gives me a woody.
[no one says anything]
Aeryn Sun: Woody. It's a human saying. I've heard you say it often. When you don't trust someone or they make you nervous, they give you...
John Crichton: Willies. She gives you the willies.

Aeryn Sun: I apologize for my strengths.

Aeryn Sun: Who are you to order me around?
John Crichton: Order? I was offering a suggestion.
Aeryn Sun: Well, who are you to offer suggestions?

Vala Mal Doran: Being stuck on this ship is worse than being stuck at the SGC. I-I-I tell you, the last time I was this bored I took hostages!

I thought the woman love was a one off. But no. Next came a couple years later. In the form of Tina Fey, small, clever and HILARIOUS. Her skits on SNL had me laughing. But it wasn't until I saw 30 Rock that my second crush began.

Liz Lemon: I want to go to there.

Jenna Maroney: How's it going?
Liz Lemon: Terrible. I just want to go home and watch that show about midgets and eat a block of cheese.

Liz Lemon: You can't be gay for one person. Unless you're a lady. And you meet Ellen.

Ok ok. So not a one off. Two women. I can live with that. But then came the damn show Angel. Blast that show and its awesome characters and its awesome actors. Charisma Carpenter caught my attention immediately playing evil Cordelia Chase in the episode "Orpheus". I was hooked almost instantly. Went back and have now seen her Cordelia evolve from the Queen Bitch on Buffy The Vampire Slayer to being the heart and center of her small group of friends in Angel.

In my opinion, by far the most beautiful of the female actresses in the Buffyverse. And I LOVE the fact that she has tattoos. *makes out with her*

Cordelia Chase: Grease stains all over my new outfit! Okay, so maybe my pain isn't physical, but do you have any idea of the dry cleaning bill I'm looking at?

Cordelia Chase: You can't fire me. I'm Vision Girl.

Cordelia: I thought he had a soul.
Spike: I thought she didn't.
Cordelia: I do!
Spike: So do I!
Cordelia: Well, clearly, mine's better.

Cordelia: Don't make it hard, Angel. I'm just on a different road... and this is my off-ramp. The Powers That Be owed me one, and I didn't waste it. I got my guy back on track.

And soon after that I gave the show Bones a try. Never thought going into that show that I'd find such a fantasticly beautiful woman. In the line of my female crushes so far, Emily Deshanel is last but certainly not least. She plays the genius level intelligent Temperance "Bones" Brennan who works with Special Agent Seeley Booth to solve crimes.

She is beyond beautiful. Her eyes! OH dear lord her eyes make me melt! A woman has never made me melt before. But her EYES!! I don't think its possible for this woman to look bad. I even think she's beautiful when she's breaking down and crying. <3 And from interviews I've seen she seems to be such a lovely lovely human being.

*takes her home to love her and squeeze her and keep her forever and evers*

Dr. Temperance Brennan: We'll find out who killed him, Booth. We've got Hamid's body. You can always count on the dead.

Dr. Temperance Brennan: [to murderer who is trying to put a voodoo curse on her, so she pokes him in the eye to shut him up] I've noticed that very few people are scary once they've been poked in the eye.

Dr. Temperance 'Bones' Brennan: I can't just bust into song. I have to have music. And an appropriate atmosphere of frivolity.

Special Agent Seeley Booth: What are you trying to do?
Dr. Temperance Brennan: Blackmail you.
Special Agent Seeley Booth: Blackmail a federal agent.
Dr. Temperance Brennan: Yes.
Special Agent Seeley Booth: I don't like it.
Dr. Temperance Brennan: I'm fairly certain you're not supposed to.
Special Agent Seeley Booth: Fine. You're in.

Dr. Temperance Brennan: I don't know what that means.

Hope I didn't get creepy in my love. But Beautiful women!! I just wanted to show my appreciation for these women of television and movies. And objectify them a bit, apparently. lol

And a little song that fits the theme.
