HA! Finally! My first fully completed mood theme. And first ever animated one too. :) It took me about a week, and a good back.

I can't quite say what draws me to Ten & Martha so much but they took over my brain and wouldn't leave me alone until this was completed. I have fallen head over heals in love with Doctor Who and Martha still stands strong as my favorite companion so far. I'm sorry Donna.

All these moods are from Series 3 of Doctor Who. I tried my hardest to actually get each mood to have both The Doctor and Martha. Which actually became quite difficult because the last few episodes of the series The Doctor and Martha are split up a lot and there were some good moments.

Teasers and download / instructions under the cut.

Angry ----- Embarrassed ----- Loved ----- Silly

Download Megaupload
Download Sendspace

I'm not the best at explaining so I'm just going to copy and paste some instructions from a fantastic person who seems to know what they're talking about. These are from [ profile] crackified and can be found Here.

If you can, I'd suggest using the admin console. While the custom mood editor is nice in theory, it is very temperamental, and freezes your browser while it registers every image. But, if you're very patient, that might work for you. Otherwise, try the admin console first. It's not nearly as complicated as it looks.

Using the Admin Console

1. Download the zip file for the mood theme you want, and unzip it in winzip or a similar program.

2. Then upload the 132 mood images to your domain, or an image hosting site like Photobucket. If you're using Photobucket, I suggest you download Flock, which allows you to upload images in batches. There are more instructions on it here. Do not change the file names.

3. Go to the LJ admin console.

4. Now, in the text box, paste in the following:

moodtheme_create "Title of Theme" "Short Description of Theme"

Of course, replace the "Title of Theme" and "Short Description of Theme" text with the title and description. They can be anything you want, as long as you remember the title, because you'll need it for later. Once you're done, click "execute". If you're successful, the console will give you a number. Copy down this number!

5. Now, back in the zip file, open the "adminconsolecodes.txt" file (The Adminconsole.txt file should be in the download but let me know if its not. Or you can go to [ profile] crackified's instructions and she has a version for download but you need to edit it a bit more). Using the "replace" tool in your notepad program, replace the 12345 number with the number the console gave you previously. Also replace the "" url with the url to the folder that stores the images on your domain, or the photobucket album.

6. Now, paste in the edited codes into the admin console, and click execute. You should be directed to a page with your accepted codes. If not, go back and re-do the steps again.

7. Now go to your customize page. If you're using s2 (if you don't know what that means, then you probably are using s2), go to the "Customize Selected Theme" button on the bottom right of the page. There should be a "Mood Theme" section on your new page - underneath it, there is a drop down menu. Use the drop down to find your new theme. Save changes.

If you're using s1, simply scroll down your customize page until you find the "Mood Themes" section. Use the drop down to find your new theme. Save changes.

And you're done! Your theme should now be up on your LJ.

EDIT: My personal experience, I couldn't get Pissed Off to work right without having to go in and manually edit it in the Custom Mood Theme Editor. Because photobucket won't allow spaces in a files name, so I don't know how to work that.

Using the Custom Mood Theme Editor

1. Download the zip file for the mood theme you want, and unzip it in winzip or a similar program.

2. Upload the 132 mood images to your domain, or an image hosting site like Photobucket. Do not change the file names.

3. Go here. Underneath "Create a New Theme", enter in the name of the mood theme you are about to upload. Click the create button.

4. Now you need to use the URLs of the mood images that you uploaded earlier. Enter in the appropriate URL for each mood section. Make sure that the height and width for each mood image is entered and correct, otherwise that mood will not be saved. When you're done, click on Save Changes at the bottom. And you're done!

5. Now go back to your Mood Theme Editor. Your new theme should be included on your list of mood themes. When you find it, look to the right of the mood icons and click on the "Use" button. Save changes, and your mood theme should be up on your LiveJournal.

Please do not Hotlink. Upload the images to your own site (photobucket or some such).

I just finished looking at the entire mood theme. That must have taken you forever! Really nice job!

I loved some of your unique choices for the moods, and they all make me want to rewatch that season and all the wonderful moments these two characters shared. Well done, you. :D

By now, you're ahead of me in DW viewing, because I've not seen most of Season 4. I came to start watching DW because I first saw the second half of the Season 4 finale (just happened upon it one day -- how's that for starting backwards??), then I happened upon a Ten/Rose episode from S2, and then I decided that I liked the show enough to check it out from the beginning of the new Doctor series, so at long last I went back and started watching in order from S1 with Chris Eccleston. I've seen all of seasons one, two and three, but only a couple episodes of season four (and the second half of the finale). I keep meaning to finish watching but I've been sucked in to other things lately. Did you like Season 4 overall? I do like what little of Donna that I've seen thus far (and am already heartbroken for her, given what happens in the end).

It did take quite a lot of patience and energy.

I'm ahead of you now? wowzers. Catch up! I thought Season 4 was very good. Actually, though I enjoyed the hell out of it, the episodes I dislike is the Finale two-parter. Oh and you have to see "Midnight", such a fantastic episode.

And poor poor Donna. Yeah. Heartbroken is a good word.

I know I commented previously, but I just had a look at the entire mood theme. I have to say this is the best
Ten/Martha mood theme that I've seen so far. I love that you focused on Series 3 and also the scenes for each mood were well-chosen. This is definitely first on my list when I'm ready to change mood themes. Will credit you of course. Nice work. :)

That must have taken you FOREVER! *shakes head* and it is BEAUTIFUL. I really like the blah, bouncy, and silly moods, but ALL of them... wow, and now I want to go rewatch s3.

Do you mind if I play mix-and-match with some of the moods? With credit, of course.
