HELL YEAH!!!! MOTHER TRUCKERS!!!
Jun. 3rd, 2003 04:25 pmYEAH. I wake up to these words from my brother, "Hey, Briton, CD Warehouse called, said they have your copy of St. Anger."
I jump outta bed and ask, "Seriously?"
He answers, "Yeah, thought you would want to know that."
So, I get online real quick and ask Jess if she wants to come down to CD Warehouse with me. So, Colin, Jess, and I go on down there...it takes awhile cause of waiting for people to get ready, had to cash my check, had to drive around construction, but finally, we get there. I walk in, and the woman pulls out the cd...lovely...lovely. Only $14, but I thought she had said $40 cause she said it with her mouth full of pizza. Then I thought they were gonna up the price, the guy behind her said, "Well, it's not supposed to be selling until Thursday, we should jack up the price." that would have sucked bad. But after I buy it, Jess is still looking around...torture I tell you...couldn't listen to it...waiting for Jess. lol.
But it's all good. Got to the car, popped the cd in, cd player worked for a change!! Yeah!! KICK ASS!!! I'm loving the cd so far. Haven't listened to all of it yet...very long cd...but I'm getting there. Awesomeness!! WOOP! And there's a DVD of them playing all the songs in the studio...and some online thing to go see more live stuff...haven't gotten to that stuff yet. But I will. ;) Metallica rules...and so does CD Warehouse now. That woman there is cool...she got me into a bunch of music one day when I was there. She's a PIMP!
