Walk the Line: I really really want to see this movie.
Just Friends: Also really really want to see this movie as well. teeheee
The Air Conditioning: Its broken. We're lucky that it hasn't been tooo hot. but there's no breeze right now so its stuffy and not that good. And tomorrow is Sunday, so no maintenance to call. *BUMS* :(
Why The British Are Better: Jools Holland. Apparently there is this show "Later...With Jools Holland"...never knew it existed. Why? Because I fucking live in the US. But there's this station...Ovation: The Arts Channel, which usually plays weird things that can sometimes be very entertaining if you're up at five in the morning with nothing to do. Like strange musicals and operas that I don't understand because they're in another language. But that's cool.
Anyway...they play this show, "Later...With Jools Holland"...where I guess he puts all these musicians in a large room together, in a circle. He seems to stand in the middle and point at any random guest and they begin playing. The whole entire idea seems fantastic!!! Its like a dream world...where these bands wait around until you decide it is time that they get a turn at entertaining you. I love it! I wish I was him.
We stopped to watch because Yeah Yeah Yeahs were on and then a band Katie knows called Grandaddy. And were sucked in by the format of the show. So frantically insanely awesome! Why am I just now learning about this genius show?!
................................ok. I hate this show now. It can suck my left nut.
I just went to the website, I guess it airs on BBC2 originally Friday nights. And I'm looking and on November 25th The Rakes are gonna be on and I like them, they're cool. *scroll down, scroll down*....The National are also on. And why is this bad news? Because I live in AMERICA! Of Course!
I'm never gonna watch televison again. it only ends up bringing bad things.
at least my icon makes me laugh. Good Ol' Straight Yet Oddly Gay American Boys.
