Smokin' Aces: Just got back from watching Smokin' Aces. I have to say a much better movie then I thought it was going to be based off of other people's reviews of the film. Being that most people were saying it made absolutely no sense and wasn't put together well, but still Entertaining.

I do agree with the Entertaining part. But I have to say...it made some sense, more sense then most action movies. The only thing that made no sense to me while I was watching the movie was why some of the characters didn't just use the damn staircase?! The elevators are down...USE THE STAIRS! Ugh. Anyway. I also thought it was paced well and somehow, out of the mess that was that film, it all managed to come together at the end. There were a ton of characters to juggle and it was done pretty well. Especially since a good majority of those characters were then soon killed.

In short. I LIKED IT! Very fun! :)

In other news. Mr. Dan Dan The Production Man has still not contacted me. I'm starting to get angry. The only thing that is keeping me from being totally pissed is the fact that his sister had called him in the middle of our dinner two days ago. And he had commented that it was odd that she would be calling him so late but he'd call her after we were done. So...something could have come up from that. But you should still call somebody. sheesh! I'm so tired of this.

Willkommen nach Amerika Arsenal FC und Liverpool FC:

Arsenal FC and MLS team Colorado Rapids have struck a partnership. What does this mean for me, Arsenal fan and lonely american soccer lover? Well, nothing. Because I live in FLORIDA. And there are no soccer teams within...I think...two states of me let alone Colorado. But, it is good news for soccer as a whole here in the United States. Any team making a partnership with a soccer giant is good news for American fans. Some Americans players will get to go and train and play over in Europe...some Arsenal players may come around to this country to train and play. And well, the teams are going to end up helping each other commercially. Get the Arsenal name more well known over here in the States, and the Rapids get some help in marketing a soccer team from Arsenal. At least, I think how this thing is going.

Liverpool FC are apparently now owned by two Americans! Which means three Premiership teams are now owned by Americans. This is getting a little bit of buzz. And again, is good for soccer as whole, here in America. Big wig guys go out and buy some soccer teams and see that there is money to be made in the sport then they may bring some of that money back here to the States and get behind our own league. *shrug* Major stuff in the last week.

And the US Team beat Mexico...which I didn't know was being shown on ESPN! GAH! and I ended up watching the England v. Spain game on FSC which was...ehh. Of course no channels showed Germany. *glares and grumbles*

The Nacional: The National have finally updated their website for the first time since October. And what's new? One date they are playing in freaking LONDON. argh...right now I really hate you London. I really hate the whole European region right now because The National go there so often! grrrrr....But their album SHOULD be coming out in May...which isn't that long from now so I think I can survive and forgive Europe.

And I have no idea why this post is so football oriented. It just ended up turning that way. I really only wanted to talk about the Smokin' Aces movie but I went on a tangent. Sorry.
