Box Office: "Batman Begins" took in $26.8 million to remain the top movie for the second straight weekend, but it could not keep Hollywood from sinking to its longest modern box-office slump.
This is how bad the movies are right now. Batman Begins remains the number one movie in America even with Bewitched,Herbie, and Night of the Living Dead (Supposed masterpiece) coming out this last weekend. Go Batman Go! Kick their asses! Hollywood is depending on "War of the World's" to bring them out of their slump...well...yeah. good luck. Compared to last year...Spiderman made record sales for Fourth of July. So...good luck Spielburg/Cruise. haha. I'm gonna go watch Batman again.
They're in a huge slump compared to last year's sales and what do they do? keep putting out these crapfests of movies! gah! Farenheit 9/11 was out this time last year doing better then these movies!!! *le sigh*
Rumor: Katie told me some crazy rumor about Sean Penn being considered for Joker in the next Batman movie. that makes me sad. I hope its not true at ALL.
and why does Tim Burton remake movies that have no NEED to be remade? Like Planet of the Apes? Why? I think people can agree that there was no need at all to remake that. and I won't rant again about zee Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. You all know my thoughts. grrr.
I fucked your mother with a spatula.
BEEF.
