omg...i'm on the internet. got on my brother's icky computer. and his room smells horrible. I don't think he's ever cleaned this thing. ugggghhhh..
anyway. Yesterday was a very productive day. :) :) :) Got keys to our new apartment, so we have two at the moment. teehee. but i'm not even living in either one at the moment, so weird.
and the most awesome important thing of yesterday will go under a cut.
Went to the Bravery's Hard Rock show early yesterday. We were the first ones in line. thought the crowd might be somewhat like the My Chemical Romance show, which had a very early line. But it wasn't really. but waiting there with Katie was still fun and didn't seem to last too long. Hung out and heard the band playing inside the place for their close ups or whatever that MTV uses. Then found out from other people in line that the opening band for them was going to be The Dead 60's. So, that was an awesome plus!!! I just got their album like three days ago. Then waited and got in. Front ROW! Bitches!
More waiting and then the Dead 60's come out and they were fantabulous! I highly suggest checking these guys out. The guy rocked the cow bell like a Muthafucka! Gah! The only problem was I didn't know ALL the words cause I haven't had the album that long. So i could only really sing along with a couple songs. :( tsk tsk on me.
Then had to do the fake screams for MTV. which the crowd was too lazy to do that well. haha. the song would start and everybody went a bit crazy and then the energy died out. the people seemed a bit annoyed, but whatev. Then the Bravery came out. The show was awesome. Their sound is much better live then on their album. The crowd was fantastic! nothing like before at the MCR show. Just happy people having a good time. And Sam, lead singer, jumped into the crowd on the first song and was almost stolen away by the front row of girls. heh. and later the bassist leaped like a monkey over the side of the stage into the gap between crowd and stage and then leaned into those same girls who face raped him. It was a very strange thing to see, just hands sliding strangely over his face. hehe, but he seemed to enjoy it a bit, soooooo yay for him, i guess?
And when the show ended they had to come back out and do a couple songs because of "Technical difficulties" so we got to hear "Fearless" and "No Brakes" twice. ;) It was kind of funny cause they roared off stage at the end of their set by throwing stuff down and then had to come back and use the broken stuff to play some more songs. It was great, see these guys live if you like them at all! :)
So watch the MTV2 Hard Rock show when they're on and you might see me. :) :) yeeeah. I'm gonna be a TV star!
and i just have to say that Franzie and Michael belong together forever!!! FOREVER!!!! OTP!
now i'm in ft. myers and I have take all my old pictures and posters off my wall. :( I think this is finally the end to my youth. Its gone now. My room is being taken apart and the memories I had here and in that room will fade. kind of sad.
I also talked to my mom today. For the first time in MONTHS! many many months. She didn't mention the gap in time. she didn't apologize. I didn't mention it cause I didn't want to argue with her. She asked about college...she tried to get on my case about taking a bit of time off. She can kiss my ass. And today was apparently her birthday. I didn't wish her a happy birthday. She said she's going to call back tomorrow. I doubt it. gah. I need to go listen to some music.
