I've heard nothing but good things about this movie and at certain points it hurt to watch it because of the jumbled way the stories were put together. It was a wreck of random stories, some they had to go out on the longest limb to bring together.
I also didn't like the use of racial slurs. I know they were a main focus of the movie and that's what it was about...a sort of commentary on racial discrimination today. But I thought that a lot of it was over the top...it was over done and took away from story. And I know I'm a white female...but I've never met one person as outwardly racist as almost every character in this movie was. But that's me in my life.
I don't know why so many people love this movie. It was filmed badly...with some weak storylines. Some were strong though, very strong such as the cops and the married couple who get pulled over...and then what follows after the incident with each separate person. I thought that could be a whole movie in itself...but with all the other crazy stories it was hard to focus on them. Sandra Bullock or Brendan Fraser didn't even need to be in the movie.
And does anybody know why its called Crash? Interweaving stories in movies has been done better about fifteen times before this movie, so go watch some of those.
and I have nothing else to talk about. I've done very little all day other then have a talk with my dad about maybe getting myself a newer car. Tempo may not last much longer. :(
