Capital! Capital!
Dec. 6th, 2005 05:30 amLack of Pride and Prejudice: Woke up today in hopes I was going with Katie to watch the movie Pride and Prejudice...I had gotten myself all giddy and excited for it. I don't know what's wrong with me and this story but...yeah. anyway, I was really looking forward to it and then it turns out the only showing we could make was a captioned showing....and that was no good...no good. *le sigh*
So we did not see the movie to my great disappointment. I got very very bummed. and it seriously effected my mood, which was kind of odd and makes me a bit angry at myself, because its just a goddamn movie. A movie that I was trying to hate only a day or so before hand. So...I don't know what that was all about.
And there were not other movies playing at that time so we couldn't even go in and watch Rent...or something. LAME!
Fall Out Boy LIVE?: Watched uhh..some part of that Big in '05 thing on VH1...the Fall Out Boy performance...and oh my dear freaking lord!!! People actually pay to watch them live? Jeeeeez....I like their music...its fun and all that. But I think they should keep all that stuff in the studio and work on their live skills some more before coming back out to play.
Melinda and Melinda: Watched the movie Melinda and Melinda...very strange. I'm not sure if I liked it or not. Really...I liked the idea...the story. But all the "characters" talked strangely and because of the format of the story...it didn't feel like a complete story. It lacked things in the stories within the story but then....they were stories being made up within the story off the tops of people's heads...so what that meant to be? It was weird. I did like the actors in it...the dialogue was a little uncomfortable though. But it is good to see Johnny Lee Miller out in the world again, hehehe. I need to dwell.
And I need to see Rent and Walk the Line sometime very soon as well. I don't know the stage show of Rent but I heard very very many good things. And Katie has been going nutso...so that one is a definite must as soon as humanly possible. I feel bad for not having gone with her to see it yet...but we've been kind of busy...well, she's been busy. I've been lazy. Bah!!!
